"The six of us haven't been in a room together in front of people in 25 years..."
Lisa Kudrow spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the Friends reunion this week.
The actress behind Phoebe Buffay said she, "can't wait for it to happen!"
Speaking to ET's Nischelle Turner Kudrow said, "The six of us haven't been in a room together in front of people in 25 years and only once a few years ago, privately for dinner..."
"I can only imagine it's gonna be fun. I mean, it'll be really fun."
Kudrow explained that we have Netflix to thank for the upcoming special.
It was only when the show began streaming that the cast decided to come together one more time.
"To be honest, I think when it moved to Netflix and it did so well on Netflix," Kudrow explained.
"That's why Mart and David [creators of Friends] are so great. Marta Kauffman and David Crane, they knew what they were doing."
Friends reunion
The Friends reunion will take the form of a one-off interview special.
The show was due to air on HBO Max yesterday to help launch the new platform.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has been pushed back.
Although we don't have a new date just yet, the reunion is still in the works!
