Lead songwriter of boyband Take That, Gary Barlow has admitted his jealousy over the success Robbie Williams had in his solo career.
Robbie suddenly left the band in 1995 in the middle of their 'Nobody Else' world tour.
Gary talks about it in his new book A Different Stage, in the book he speaks about how Robbie leaving the band to do his own thing, made him wish it was himself, who had the courage to leave and do his own thing.

Barlow writes in the book: "I felt a bit jealous that I wasn’t the one who’d stood up and said, "Up yours, I wanna have some fun. I’m a pop-star, I’m going to behave like one for a bit".
He continued: "None of us wanted to leave Take That, but watching someone else leave I — we all — couldn’t help but think about taking the leap too."
Since 1995 Robbie has reunited with band to record several songs and even joined them back on stage a handful of times.
