Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe have welcomed their first child. The couple's spokesperson confirmed to The Sun that Bagshawe gave birth to a girl last Wednesday and has been named Iris May Redmayne.
The Danish Girl actor married Bagshawe in 2014 after two years of dating.
Eddie stars in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which hits cinemas in November.
The film, set in 1926 New York, follows the adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander played by Redmayne.
It also stars Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan and newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove.
