A very divisive opinion that!

Dwayne Johnson believes people should ‘feel free’ to sing along to a movie when they’re at the cinema.

The actor is currently starring in Moana 2, a sequel to the Disney musical he starred in back in 2016.

Dwayne Johnson’s character has a few musical numbers in the movie, and expressed his feelings on people wanting to sing along while they watched the film.

“Sing!” the actor said when asked if people should be allowed to sing along to a movie, “You’ve paid your hard earned money for a ticket, and you've gone into a musical, and you’re into it. Sing.”

The topic of whether people should be allowed to sing along in a cinema sparked hot debate on the internet recently with the release of Wicked, featuring well known songs people already know and love.

Some have argued fans should be able to express their enjoyment as they like, while others say singing ruins other people's experiences.

What’s your take - should people be allowed to sing at the cinema?
