One year on from his untimely death, Courteney Cox has paid tribute to her Friends costar Matthew Perry.
The actress took to social media to remember her onscreen husband on the anniversary of his passing.

“Missing you today and always,” Courteney wrote in an Instagram post, alongside a photo of herself and Matthew and another with costars Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow on the set of Friends.
The post also tagged Matthew Perry’s foundation which the late actor set up to help people like himself who struggle with addiction.
In the days after his shocking passing a year ago, Courteney Cox shared a touching tribute to Matthew Perry.
"When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew,” she wrote in a 2023 Instagram post, “there are thousands of moments I wish I could share.”
The 60-year-old actress shared one of her favourite memories with the late actor, a hilarious moment they had while filming the iconic episode of Friends, “The One With Ross’ Wedding,” when Monica and Chandler first become romantically involved.

“To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London, but because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story,” Courteney explained alongside an unaired clip from the episode. “In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind.”
