Christoph Waltz has some strong words about Nigel Farage stepping down as UKIP leader. Yesterday Farage, a firm Vote Leave campaigner, resigned from his position - claiming Britain needs a 'Brexit prime minister' and that he wants his life back.
Speaking to Sky News during a press junket for his new movie The Legend Of Tarzan, Waltz was asked about Farage's decision to step down in the aftermath of Brexit.
Of course the head rat would leave the sinking ship," he commented. "It's inevitable.
They tried to dress it up as a heroic exit - no, it's conceding defeat. It's putting the tail between their legs and, as rats do, leave the sinking ship, leave the mess for others to clean up and retreat into some profitable other business."
That shows you how despicable these people are, that they can't even stand up for what they caused," he continued.
"[I'm against Brexit] 100%. A little too emotionally because I can't comprehend the abysmal stupidity."
