The 2015 Teen Choice Awards had some great speeches this year.
Some of the winners took the time to offer inspiring words of wisdom.
Ellen Degeneres won Choice Comedian. She made a few jokes as per usual but made sure to get in some heartfelt words too. She encouraged people to be glad they are different:
"I think I want to make sure that everyone knows that what makes you different right now makes you stand out later in life. So you should be proud of being different. You should be proud of who you are."
Actress Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries fame gave an emotional speech about change. Dobrev left the series after six years on the show as lead character Elena Gilbert:
"Change, it's a scary word, or at least I used to think that. Because it meant new beginnings, new beginnings with a future that was unknown. But change is necessary, necessary for you to grow and learn and to better yourself, because everything in life comes to an end."
And Vin Diesel paid tribute to the late Paul Walker and his family, after the cast of Furious 7 won the Choice Movie: Action/Adventure award. The cast also revealed that Paul Walker won the Choice Movie Actor award for Best Actor.
