The Late Late Show's James Corden could be turning his popular Carpool Karaoke segment into a stand-alone TV series.
Videos of the likes of Adele, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Chris Martin, Elton John and Sia singing in the front seat of James' car have racked up over 400 million hits on YouTube.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Corden and his executive producer Ben Winston are currently pitching the idea to networks. James' role in the spin-off will apparently be more behind-the-scenes. He's reportedly not planning to host the series.
Spike, who are behind the hit show Lip Sync Battle (based on Jimmy Fallon's segment) are reportedly getting ready to premiere its own take on celebs singing in cars, Caraoke Showdown.
