Cardi B Takes Home Award For Album Of The Year At BET Awards

"The numbers don't lie" said Cardi B after taking home the award for album of the year at the BET Awards.

The rapper led the way with seven nominations and taking the award for her Grammy-winning debut album, Invasion Of Privacy.

The album which was certified triple platinum took the award over other nominees such as Travis Scott and Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

While accepting her award she added,  “I’m glad I made an album that your sister, your mother, your grandmother, like it.”

As well as taking home one of the biggest awards of the night, the rapper also opened the show alongside Offset.
