Caitlyn Jenner has been named Woman of the Year by Glamour Magazine. Speaking to the audience as she collected her award, Caitlyn said: "when it comes to gender, everyone in this room is on a journey. We are constantly learning and growing as human beings learning about ourselves, but there is a second part of this population when it comes to gender. There is massive confusion deep down inside."
She added: "this is why God put me on this earth, to tell my story ... and make a difference in the world."
Victoria Beckham and Reese Witherspoon were also honoured at the bash in New York. Victoria was presented with a fashion award by her son Brooklyn, but paid tribute to her husband David on stage. She said: "Running a business, my work with UNAIDS and most importantly being a mom wouldn't be possible without David. Not only is he the most incredible father, but he is supportive and someone who loves and inspires me every single day. Me standing here tonight accepting this award proves that if you dream big and you work hard, there are no limits to what you can achieve."
