Bruce Springsteen has confirmed a new album and a UK tour for 2019. There's speculation that an Irish date could also be announced.
Speaking to The Times, Springsteen said the new album will be a "singer-songwriter album - more of a solo record".
The news comes ahead of the the release of a film about the music legend's autobiographical Broadway show on Netflix.
Based on his worldwide best-selling autobiography Born to Run, the show is a unique evening with Bruce, his guitar, a piano, and own stories—including a special appearance by Patti Scialfa. The intimate performance features songs including Born to Run, Thunder Road and Brilliant Disguise.
Springsteen On Broadway launches on December 16th at 8am on Netflix.
