Ben Affleck has released a statement about his alcohol addiction. Taking to his official Facebook page, the actor and director revealed he is taking the steps to confront it.
Ben went on to say he wants to "live life to the fullest" and be the best father he can be.
"I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step."
He also thanked Jennifer Garner for her support. Ben separated from Garner - the mother of his three children - back in 2015.
Ben recently pulled out of directing the upcoming film 'The Batman', which he will still star in.
