The 2019 BAFTAs took place last night in London. Joanna Lumley hosted the awards ceremony for the second year in a row.

The Favourite was the big winner with eight awards including both Actress BAFTAs for Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz and Outstanding British Film.

The movie was co-produced by Irish production company Element Pictures.

Best Film went to Alfonso Cuarón's Netflix movie Roma as well as Best Director, Cinematography and Best Film Not in the English Language.

Rami Malek took home the award for Best Actor for his role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
