She was having a bad day alright!

Anne Hathaway has apologised after a video of her being ‘rude’ in an interview back in 2012 went viral.

Kjersti Flaa - who, coincidentally, was the same journalist who interviewed Blake Lively in the resurfaced clip where she got flack for being rude - was speaking to the actress while she was on the promotion trail for Les Misérables.

The interview got off to a bad start when Kjersti asked the actress to sing an answer back to her, and she replied: “You can sing but I’m not going to.”

The tone was set for an uncomfortable and awkward interview going forward as the interviewers asked more questions but the actress only replied with a curt "No".

Now as the interview is doing the rounds again, Kjersti has revealed that the actress got back in touch to give her an apology all these years later.

The Norwegian journalist told her social media followers how Anne Hathaway sent her a long and thoughtful email, apologising for her rude behaviour and explaining what she had been going through at the time.

“It was a very personal note and we decided that I wouldn't share exactly what was in the email, but I just wanted to share with you guys what she did because I thought that was just so amazing,” Kjersti said in video she shared on social media.

She also shared that Anne has invited her to interview her for next film.

We’re sure that one will go better than the last!
