After a long wait, Adele opened her Las Vegas residency this weekend.
Fans were left disappointed back in January - when the residency was originally scheduled to begin - when Adele made the last-minute decision to postpone the shows.
The first reviews following this weekend though seem to reflect the same sentiment - that she was worth the wait!

A review from the magazine Billboard called the show 'utterly and breathlessly spectacular".
A fan who was interviewed after the show commented "I'd go as far to say that it was life-changing. It felt like an out-of-body experience".
After receiving a standing ovation for her first performance, the 34-year-old singer said "thank you for coming back to me" to her patient fans.
Her song 'Set Fire to the Rain' seemed to be a highlight for many as some fan videos on social media showed the Adele belting out the tune surrounded by flames and rain emerging from the stage.
Adele just recently announced on her Instagram that she'd be adding two special New Year's Eve shows to her residency.
