Dermot continued: "I think I come back now and he (Riggins the dog) doesn't have time for it".
Dermot revealed his dogs name is inspired by Tim Riggins, In 'Friday Night Lights'.
Dermot also revealed what his stand out moments in his career have been over the past few years, to which he said: "Thinking about Ireland in particular, headlining Electric Picnic was a very big moment, and it's funny because, it's not always the case that you enjoy the biggest show. It can be quite intimidating and blurry, but that one was unreal".
Rebecca also asked Dermot if he was into Astrology, given his romantic lyrics about the stars and moon etc, to which Dermo replied laughing: "Not into it! I know certain people put a lot of weight in star signs and you can explain everything with kind of thing, right?".

Speaking of his Marlay Park show next Summer, Rebecca asked Dermot what he had planned to which he replied: "We just have to go up a level. People who came to Malahide, people who came to Saint Annes, people who came to Electric Picnic.. You don't want them to go away thinking "I seen that before" you just have to tick that box and go to the next level".
Dermot also revealed what he would do if he wasn't a singer! Listen to the full interview below to find out!
