Gardaí have discovered a cannabis growhouse on Moore Street in the city centre.
It follows a search of a premises on Tuesday November 12th as part of an ongoing operation by detectives into the sale and supply of controlled substances.
Cannabis plants with a street value of around €12,000 were discovered.
The building is part of Dublin's 1916 battlefield site, made famous by the Easter Rising leaders.
A man in his 40s was arrested and taken to Store Street Garda Station where he was held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He was later released and a file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
