Bridget Jones is back! The fourth installment in the movie franchise, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, dropped its first trailer on Tuesday.

The trailer shows Bridget looking for love again after being widowed with two children.
The film is based on the Helen Fielding novel of the same name, which she wrote based on her own experience of raising her children after her husband passed away.
Renée Zelleweger is back in the role of Bridget and is joined by some familiar faces, including the loveable bad boy Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant).
Jim Broadbent and Gemma Jones reprise their roles as Bridget’s goofy parents. Meanwhile, Sarah Solemani, Sally Phillips, Shirley Henderson and James Callis are all back as Bridget's hilarious long-time pals.
They’re joined by some brand new characters. —- played by Leo Woodall (who you may know from The White Lotus and One Day) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (best known for 12 Years A Slave) playing a new younger lover for Bridget and the head master of her two kids respectively.
Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy is slated for release in cinemas on Valentines Day 2025.
