There have been around 700 call-outs to bonfires in Dublin in the past six weeks.
People are being urged not to take part in anti-social behaviour this Halloween as it puts extra pressure on emergency services.
A number of stockpiles of dangerous materials have recently been cleared from housing estates, and gardaí have seized hundreds of fireworks.
Gardaí in Crumlin conducted a joint operation with @DubCityCouncil during which they seized a number of fireworks and a large amount of bonfire materials as part of #OperationTombola

Station Officer with Dublin Fire Brigade, Darren O' Connor, says they are in for a busy weekend:
"We've seen a huge increase in the amount of small fires we've attended."
"If that's a trend it's probably going to continue into Halloween night."
"At the moment we're gearing up for another really busy night which is traditionally our busiest night of the year."
