Boeing's 737 Max 8 planes have been banned from flying into and out of Irish airspace.
The UK, Australia and Singapore have also banned the planes from flying in our out of their countries.
It follows Sunday's Ethiopian Airlines crash, which killed 157 people including an Irish man.
It's the second Boeing 737 Max 8 to crash in five months, killing everyone on board.
The same plane crashed in Indonesia in October, killing 189 people.
All types of Boeing 737 Max planes, including the Max 7, Max 8, Max 9 and Max 10, have been banned from Irish airspace.
The Irish Aviation Authority said the decision will ensure "the continued safety of passengers and flight crew".
In a statement, it said it has "issued instructions to stop any flights on Boeing 737 MAX from any operator arriving, departing or overflying Irish airspace."
The ban came into effect from 3pm on March 12th.
