A man who was assaulted earlier this month has been found dead at a house off the Navan Road.
The body of the 55-year-old was discovered this morning.
Gardaí say he was the victim of an assault on the Navan Road on Thursday the 14th of November.
No arrests have been made in this attack and investigations are ongoing.
The man's body has since been removed for a post-mortem examination.
That will be carried out by the Assistant State pathologist tomorrow.
Gardai say the results of that exam will determine the course of their investigation.
