Gardai are treating the discovery of a man's body in a container in Ballymun as a "tragic incident".
His remains were found this morning, close to Balbutcher Lane.
They were discovered in a disused corrugated container beside stables on wasteland by passers by.
The man, whose age is unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene, which remains sealed off.
Members of the Garda technical bureau are carrying out a full technical examination.
Gardaí believe the death was a tragic incident, and not linked to a recent upsurge in gangland violence.
However they'll await results of a full post mortem examination.
