New figures show a breakdown of figures by local area
The incidence rate nationally is just over 50 cases of Covid 19 per 100 thousand people.
The figures come as new local breakdowns are published as part of the HSE data hub.
Many people really want more detailed information about the virus and how it’s affecting their communities. I asked my department to start publishing cases by local area. Delighted to see this launch earlier tonight. Well done to all involved in @roinnslainte @hpscireland pic.twitter.com/S59y58ffmE

The first breakdown of figures by local area show it's much higher in many parts of Dublin.
Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart is worst affected at 189 - Tallaght is at 175, the south west inner city 163 and Balbriggan 150.
That compares to relatively low rates in areas of south Dublin such as 39 in Stillorgan and 35 in Blackrock.
In other parts of the country still at level 2 restrictions, there are also some high incidence rates.
171 in Celrbridge, Co. Kildare ; 132 in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim and 126 on the northside of Limerick city.
