The organisers of Beatyard fear this weekend's festival will be the last held at Dun Laoghaire Harbour.

They say they haven't been able to confirm the dates they want for next year, and are looking for new venues.

Groove Armada, Chvrches and Todd Terje will headline the festival this weekend.

In a statement, Beatyard organisers said "it's looking very likely this will be our last time here".

"We aren't getting clear answers on 'next year' and getting the site and dates confirmed".

They are calling on those interested in hosting the event in 2020 to get in touch.

"Ideally we want to keep this festival in Dublin City, but if we're forced out of Dublin, so be it".

This is the fifth year running that Beatyard is being staged in Dun Laoghaire.

Organisers say they "can't operate here every year on uncertainty, or the idea that other events from abroad will get brought in and we get edged out".

Beatyard 2019 will go ahead as planned this August Bank Holiday weekend.
