Around 100 young people gathered for an alleged pre-arranged fight at a park in Dublin last night.
The gangs reportedly brought homemade weapons with them to East Timor Park in Ballyfermot.
Gardaí were called to the scene after residents noticed the crowds of teenagers taking over the area.
Local Councillor and Chair of the Joint-Policing Committee Daithí Doolan, believes it is related to an ongoing feud:
"There was a pre-arranged fight between two gangs, neither I think were from Ballyfermot."
"There were reports of some style of homemade weapons being used as well."
In a statement gardaí say:
"Gardaí attended a public order incident on the Sarsfield Road, at approximately 6:30pm last night, Tuesday 13th October 2020. No arrests were made, investigations ongoing."
