Neil Buchanan is not Banksy...
Former Art Attack host Neil Buchanan has been forced to deny he's the mysterious graffiti artist Banksy.
His team shared a statement on his website after a social media theory grew legs this week.
The statement reads:
'We can confirm that there is no truth in the rumour whatsoever. Neil spent Lockdown with vulnerable members of his family and is now preparing to launch his art collection in 2021. Thank you and please stay safe.'
The rumour began when a social media user noticed Banksy artworks popping up in spots where Buchanan's band Marseille played gigs.
Banksy's latest works include a piece on a London tube encouraging people to wear masks and a tribute to the NHS in Southampton General Hospital.
