A man has died after being stabbed in Dublin city.
The knife attack happened at the Ballybough House flat complex in the north inner city shortly before 10 o'clock last night.
Gardaí received a call about an altercation between two men.
A 20-year-old man was discovered with apparent stab wounds and rushed to the Mater Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
Arrest
A male youth has been arrested in connection with the investigation. He is currently detained under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Mountjoy Garda Station.
The scene is currently sealed off for a forensic examination.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post mortem is due to take place. An incident room has been set up at Mountjoy Garda Station.
