A Garda investigation is underway after shots were fired at a house in west Dublin.
It happened in the Oranmore Road area of Ballyfermot at around 10pm last night.
A number of shots were fired at the house causing damage to a window.
However no one was injured during the incident.
A technical examination of the scene is due to be carried out today.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200.
