Ancient skeletal remains found in a park in Swords are undergoing specialist analysis.
Locals discovered the remains in the Rivervalley Park in April while they were out for a walk.
However nobody was in a position to excavate because of the Covid-19 restrictions.
Six medieval skeletons were excavated from the same site, back in 1999.
Fingal County Council's Heritage Officer Christine Baker says experts believe the remains belong to a juvenile.
"The archaeologist that excavated the site is Meabh McCormack."
"So she is also an osteo-archaeologist, that is an expert in human remains."
"She was able to identify, preliminary, that the remains of a juvenile - about ten to twelve years of age."
"The analysis is ongoing so we'll be able to hear more about that in due course."
