The Foreign Affairs Minister has confirmed America won't be on the green list of countries we can travel to and it's unlikely the UK will be either.
The list of places Irish citizens can travel to without quarantine rules is set to be revealed on Monday.
Countries including Sweden, Bulgaria and Romania will most likely be excluded.
Simon Coveney says it's also not looking good for America or the UK;
"There's no question that the US will be on the green list, it won't be. I think it's very unlikely our closest neighbour either will be under that threshold that we set and that's really unfortunate because the two countries that we would like to be opening up to in terms of international travel are the UK and the US."
