Alison Hammond has responded to a fan who criticised her for flaunting her wealth on TV in the midst of a cost of living crisis.
A viewer of the show took to Twitter with the complaint:
“I love watching @AlisonHammond but with the cost of living affecting us all, I find it uncomfortable seeing her wearing, what looks like a Rolex.”
To avoid the spread of misinformation, Alison responded to the person to confirm it very much was not a Rolex.

In the replies, many came to Alison’s defence saying she didn’t need to excuse herself in the first place.
