Alicia Keys opened last night's Grammy Awards with a musical tribute to the late Kobe Bryant.
The 41-year-old five-time NBA champion and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were among nine people killed in a helicopter crash in California yesterday.
"We're all feeling crazy sadness right now," Alicia said. "Earlier today, Los Angeles, America and the whole wide world lost a hero. We're literally standing here heartbroken in the house that Kobe Bryant built."
The host was joined on stage at the Staples Center by Boys II Men.
Together, they performed the band's song 'It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday'.
