Geri Halliwell AKA Ginger Spice has landed a role in the movie Gran Turismo, a live-action adaption of a popular PlayStation racing game.
The 50-year-old singer hasn't had much acting experience since her turn in the Spice Girls movie Spiceworld in 1997, so this is an interesting casting choice for sure! Is she looking to make a career change?

Geri Halliwell joining the cast of a movie based on a car-racing might sound like an odd choice but the singer is married to Christian Horner, a former racecar driver. She probably knows a thing or two about that world!
The film's plot is centred around a teenage Gran Turismo player (played by Archie Madekwe who's known for Midsommar) who ends up becoming a professional racecar driver. Geri Halliwell and Djimon Hounsou (known for Guardians Of The Galaxy and Blood Diamond) will play his parents.
One to watch for sure!
