The body 15 year old Chloe Kinsella has been found in the River Shannon in Limerick.
Shortly before midday divers attached to Limerick marine search and rescue service recovered the body from the river Shannon at Brown's Quay, Thomandgate, just yards from Chloe's house.
The 15-year-old Fifth year student from Killeelly had been missing for 6 days, sparking a search involving hundreds of volunteers.
Distraught family members identified the body before the young girl's remains were brought to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will be carried out.
Gardaí investigating Chloe's death do not suspect foul play at this stage, however are awaiting the resulting of a post mortem before deciding the nature of their investigation.
