A man accused of killing a father-of-one in Tallaght just over a week ago has been released on bail.
Last week, Trevor Corr of Kiltalown Way was charged with the manslaughter of 32-year-old James Humphries.
Just hours after the Dublin footballers lifted the Sam Maguire on September 22nd, James Humphries stumbled out of a house at Kiltalown Way and collapsed.
Paramedics rushed to the scene but despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A post-mortem revealed he died from stab wounds.
37-year-old Trevor Corr, who lives at the address where Mr. Humphries was killed, was arrested and brought before Tallaght DC last week.
The court heard how Mr. Humphries was stabbed as he slept in a bed following a heavy drinking session.
Judge Anthony Halpin gave consent to bail with 13 strict conditions attached and that bail has now been taken up.
The accused is due to appear before Tallaght District Court again next month.
