The new National Children's Hospital wont be ready until the end of 2018, according to the body charged with its responsibility.
That's despite claims by the Health Minister that it'd be up and running by spring of that year.
The facility has been beset with delays and controversey, having originally been planned for 2012.
Now according to the Irish Independent it's emerged a number of key milestones wont be met.
They include a five month delay in appointing a design team and crucially, planning permission wont be secured until 2015.
