It was an emotional weekend on the XFactor for hopefuls who thought they had made it through to judge’s houses only to be told they’d be replaced by another better singer.
There was six places available at judge’s houses and 12 singers. All six places were gone by the time she got to audition. Luckily for Melanie, Nicole Scherzinger decided to give Melanie one of the other girl’s places after her performance. Sadly it meant that 21 year old Karen Harding was sent home after being told she was through.
XFactor fans were outraged at the new twist calling the show a “blood sport” and have said producers don’t care about the well-being of the contestants who were sent home after the judges changed their minds.
