A groom who staged a bomb hoax so his bride wouldn't find out he'd forgot to book the wedding venue has been jailed for a year.
Neil McArdle couldn't face telling his wife-to-be - and used a phone box and a disguised voice to call Liverpool Registry Office, on the morning of his big day.
The 36-year-old's bride, family and friends were left outside as police searched the building just days after the Boston Marathon Bombings.
He's been jailed for a year after admitting the hoax, and realising it was "no laughing matter".
