There has been another fall in the number of people signing on the Live Register.
New figures from the Central Statistics Office show the seasonally adjusted total fell by 3,700 in October - to just under 410,000.
The rate of unemployment has also fallen as a result - to 13.2 per cent - compared to 14.2 per cent in October 2012.
The CSO says 46 per cent of those on the dole are in long term unemployment - out of work for more than 12 months.
