Martin O'Neill didn't give too much away in tonight's press conference ahead of tomorrow's friendly, but did confirm that captain Robbie Keane will not start as he is struggling with an Achilles injury.
O'Neill said that Keane hopes to use this MLS season to get everything sorted. And his appointment with a specialist will be moved forward a week as he will not be used from the start tomorrow evening.
The Irish gaffer said that John O'Shea is a ready made captain, should he start the game.
O'Neill also said that he wasn't happy that James McClean was caught up in another twitter row.
"I wasn't overly pleased. James seems to enjoy the twitter. His performance merited a few tweets from others saying how well he'd done, and not him getting involved." Said O'Neill.
"I will look at twitter conduct for the future. I'm not a social media guru. Maybe the player's don't realize that this is a public forum."
