An Irish team of Graeme McDowell and Shane Lowry have moved up to 8th place at the golf World Cup in Melbourne.
The Irish sit on +2 heading into the final round, as do four other nations. Australia and the United States are out in front on 11 under and 10 under.
Graeme McDowell had a fine third round, finishing on 4 under for the day, and 3 under overall. That moves him up to 6th place overall.
Australian Jason Day leads on 9 under. One shot ahead of Dane, Thomas Bjorn.
Shane Lowry is on 5 over par, but still has plenty to play for as Ireland could still finish in the top 3.
