After hosting four games in 1991, and seven in 1999, Ireland will bid for the sole rights, to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The biggest stumbling block seemed to be the number of stadiums required, as there are currently just six rugby stadiums that could be used for the bid.
The Aviva, The RDS, The Sportsgrounds, Ravehill, Thomand Park, and Musgrave at a push, are the only grounds on the Island that currently host rugby.
Thirteen stadiums were used in New Zealand in 2011 and a similar number would be needed again.
But with 93% of GAA delegates voting to open their stadiums for the bid, there are now over a dozen stadiums to choose from.
