There are fears that safety measures introduced by Google and Microsoft won't be able to tackle the majority of child pornography.
More than 100,000 search terms will be blocked by Google, Bing and Yahoo under new measures announced today.
The restrictions will initially apply to English-speaking countries but will be expanded to the rest of the world and 158 other languages within six months.
