Dublin Fire Brigade - will have no difficulty getting water to fight fires tonight... despite the water restrictions that are due to kick in again this evening.
The Irish Fire and Emergency Services Association had earlier urged the council to lift this evening's planned shutdown, saying they were concerned about fire-safety as Dubliners celebrate Halloween across the city.
However the council says provision has already been made for the emergency services - with two super-tankers ready to go, and a team of engineers ready to divert water to the fire-service if needed.
The water's back on this morning but restrictions will return again this evening as the council continues to tackle a production problem at the Ballymore Eustace treatment plant.
