Businesses across Dublin are encouraging us to start getting into the festive mood.
The City Council and Dublin City BID have announced that Dublin will begin turning on its Christmas light from this Thursday.
More than 30 streets across the city have been decked out for Christmas this year.

Oisín Quinn said "I, as first citizen welcome all our residents and visitors to the City, to enjoy the atmosphere and many advantages and promotions our fair city has to offer over the Christmas period."
Richard Guiney, CEO of Dublin City Business Improvement District said “We would like to invite everyone to come in to see the lights and stay for the fun and excitement.
