Aer Lingus says it hopes travel disruption for passengers in the run up to Christmas can be avoided.
Yesterday, cabin crew voted in favour of industrial action which could include strike action.
Staff were balloted over roster dispute as well the closure of the cabin crew base at Shannon Airport which will see a loss of 87 jobs.
CEO of Aer Lingus, Christoph Mueller says the dispute is now in the hands of the Labour Relations Commission and that it's too early at this stage to predict industrial action:
