75 per cent of Dublin pub owners are opposed to restaurants opening if pubs have to stay shut.
Pubs representatives say they want to re-open their premises at the same time as restaurants, according to a survey by the Licensed Vintners Association.
Almost 7 out of ten say they would be willing to reopen with restricted capacity.
However they say they would 'reserve their position' if that meant restrictions on the amount of alcohol they can serve.
The survey also revealed that six out of 10 Dublin pubs believe their business will not survive if they are asked to stay closed into 2021.
The health and wellbeing of publicans, staff and customers was the most common concern for Dublin publicans, followed by the uncertainty around when they may be able to reopen and the future viability of their business.
