Up to 50,000 people may be over-paying for private health insurance.
It relates to those who took out entry level policies since 2015, when Life Community Rating was introduced.
That saw anyone over the age of 34 - who never had health insurance before - paying an additional 2 per cent of the gross premium for 10 years.
About 100,000 people took out policies before the deadline.
Many of those haven't changed their plans since, meaning they are paying more than they need to.
