A 32 foot long mural to thank front line workers has been unveiled in Drimnagh.
It was a joint project by the St John Bosco Youth Centre and artist Shane Ha.
12 young people, who are members of the Youth Centre, helped in creating the art piece, which is next to the Goldenbridge Luas stop.
Speaking today, 12 year old Holly Burke was part of the team that brought the idea to life:
“It’s so great to be involved in doing this mural and being allowed to say thank you to everyone who was so brave during the lockdown and are still working hard to keep us safe and keep our country going."
"It's great that our work will be seen by so many people and we hope that all the front line workers will see it and realise how much they are appreciated”.
Jumping for joy, bursting with pride.

"Shops, Cleaners, Cleaners, Nurses, Waste Collectors"
Centre Manager Brian Murphy says they wanted to express gratitude to all essential workers:
"Whether that's emergency services, people working in shops, cleaners in hospitals, nurses and waste collectors, stuff like that."
"So we tried to incorporate as many of the occupations as we could."
"Then as I say the visual representation, there's a Luas, a bus, a garda car, a fire engine and stuff."
