Firefighters in Australia are expecting bushfires to spread - as temperatures rise and winds strengthen.
Dozens of blazes are still burning out of control in New South Wales.
So far one man has died and more than 300 homes have been destroyed or damaged.
One theory is that they started after a training exercise involving military explosives.
Local fire commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons says they had been hoping for some heavy downpours.
